Not All “Silk” Is Created Equal
If you're truly looking for 100% silk — not a fast fashion shortcut — the first thing you should check is whether the brand holds an OEKO-TEX® certification. If it does, what Annex Level & Product Class does it meet?
All DaisySilk fabrics are certified by STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, the globally recognized safety standard for textiles. Our products meet the most rigorous level — Annex 6, which is stricter than the typical Annex 4 used by many brands. This means our fabrics have been independently tested against over 300 regulated substances and are safe for even the most sensitive skin. Our certification numbers are SH020192407 (Clothing) and SH025192406 (Bedding). You can verify them on the official OEKO-TEX® website: www.oeko-tex.com/en/label-check.
Beyond textile safety, DaisySilk also supports more responsible textile practices through the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), one of the world's leading certifications for organic textiles. GOTS ensures that certified organic fibers are processed through a supply chain that follows strict environmental and social criteria. From responsible sourcing and textile processing to sustainable production practices, GOTS provides greater transparency and supports a more responsible future for the textile industry.

The Benefits of Mulberry Silk
Mulberry silk is a natural protein fiber made of fibroin and 18 amino acids,
with a composition similar to human skin and hair. This biocompatible structure makes silk exceptionally gentle.
Its ultra-smooth surface reduces friction; it is naturally hypoallergenic, helps skin retain moisture, and
regulates temperature for year-round comfort, delivering visible results for skin, hair, and sleep.
Fewer Sleep Wrinkles
Silk's smooth surface reduces friction on delicate facial skin to help prevent overnight creases and fine lines.
Stronger, Shinier Hair
Less tugging and tangling means fewer split ends and frizz—ideal for fragile, color-treated, or curly hair.
Naturally Hypoallergenic
Resists dust mites and common irritants, making it a healthier choice for sensitive or easily reactive skin.
Locks In Skin Moisture
Unlike cotton, silk doesn't pull hydration from your face, helping skincare work overnight instead of being absorbed.
All-Season Comfort
Naturally regulates temperature to keep you cool in summer and comfortably warm in winter for deeper sleep.
Pure & Sustainable
100% Mulberry silk is a biodegradable, protein-based fiber—safer for skin and kinder to the planet than synthetics.
